🌍 Under the guidance of SAREM’s Facilitator Musab Önen and Bauhaus Cafe CIC President Betsy Aidinyatz, the Erasmus+ funded project “Learning Zone” with the reference number 2020-2-UK01-KA105-079304 brought together 28 passionate youth workers from Spain, Italy, UK, Portugal, Lithuania, Poland, and Turkey in Şarköy.
🎓 The project aims to address the gap in traditional teaching methods by promoting experiential learning. This hands-on approach benefits both the classroom and real-world experiences. Participants gained insights into practical ways to employ the learning cycle and experiential learning in daily activities, aiming to create more effective workshops and clearer communication.
🔗 With 28 participants from 7 countries, each partner organization provided 4 participants who are over 18, fluent in English, eager to learn, adaptable, and willing to share their experiences and cultures. Our priority was to maintain an equal gender distribution.
📈 At the project’s conclusion, we achieved our goals and observed new ideas and skills among the youth. As participants returned to their home countries, they expressed their joy in being in our beautiful town of Şarköy. We look forward to hosting youth in our town with more projects in the future.
